Olympics
Madonna School has been a part of Special Olympics since 1976. Over the years, our team and the sports we participate in have continued to grow! We currently have 44 athletes competing in four different sports.
Our school offers Aquatics, Athletics (Track & Field), Team Basketball and new this year, Flag Football. Each sport has a qualifying or regional level of competition, followed by the State Games.
In the summer of 2010, the National Games will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Madonna School Girls Basketball Team will be representing Team Nebraska! We also have an additional athlete who will be participating in Aquatics at the National Games. This is a fantastic opportunity for these athletes and their families. We are so proud of them and are looking forward to the summer!
